Three exciting new games are currently in development and are highly anticipated to be released in the near future. The games are called Reflex, BEeHOLD and EMOeggi and the expected internal launch date of the fully functional prototypes is mid-November 2023.
Reflex is an interactive game that offers a unique approach to enhance cognitive flexibility. Cognitive flexibility refers to the capacity to effectively transition between various cognitive tasks or mental sets, adjusting one’s thoughts and behaviors in response to changing task requirements. In this game, participants are challenged to identify the correct sorting principle on the basis of verbal and visual feedback. They must then consistently apply this sorting principle, which can be based on shape, number, or color, until a new sorting rule and set of key images are provided
The next game we are excited to announce is BEeHOLD, designed specifically to train delay of gratification skills in children with neurodevelopmental disorders. Delay of gratification refers to the ability to resist immediate rewards in order to obtain greater rewards in the future. It is an important skill that plays a crucial role in various aspects of life, including academic performance, social interactions and well-being.
And finally, in EMOeggi, the concept trained in this game is emotion naming. Here, the player is expected to learn how to accurately name and recognize emotions by linking them with various situations based on facial expressions. By engaging with EMOeggi, children with neurodevelopmental disorders can enhance their ability to identify and label different emotions with precision, fostering a deeper understanding of emotional states. This can be particularly useful in real-life situations where recognizing emotions can aid in effective communication and building positive relationships.
