In mid-April, the EMPOWER project consortium met in the beautiful town of Bergen, Norway, for an inspirational and engaging project meeting. The halls and meeting rooms of the Western Norway University of Applies Sciences – with some spectacular fjord views – were the backdrop of a three-day encounter with our project partners from across Europe. What did we discuss and what are the next steps?
Three exciting new games are currently in development and are highly anticipated to be released in the near future. The games are called Reflex, BEeHOLD and EMOeggi and the expected internal launch date of the fully functional prototypes is mid-November 2023.
In the initial stages of the EMPOWER Project, we met with expert teachers and independent specialists via focus group interviews, to explore and gain deeper insights into their perspectives concerning the utility and requirements of resources to help neurodiverse children develop their executive functions and emotional skills.
In the city of Cluj Napoca, Romania, hosted by our partner Universitatea Babeş-Bolyai, partners of the EMPOWER meeting met to both update on the latest actions and next steps of the HorizonEurope project and also to have some nice time sharing dinner.
The Empower project has presented two of the nine games that will be developed by the project in order to work on executive functions with children with neurodevelopmental disorders: the Sustained Attention Game and the Memory Training Game.
